Rachel Wortell is a filmmaker based in New York. Her first feature film, A Sibling Mystery, is a comedy about a brother and sister who become consumed with investigating a mysterious woman they suspect has stolen their winning lottery ticket, endangering their summer party plans. She is the co-writer, co-director, and co-producer of this film along with her collaborator Dan Erickson, which had it’s World Premiere at the 2017 Vail Film Festival. The film has gone on to screen at numerous festivals including the 40th Mill Valley Film Festival, as well as being 1 of 6 in Narrative Competition at the 2017 Portland Film Festival. She is a member of Film Fatales, a collective of women directors that support and mentor each other. Her production company is called Sibling Features. She wrote this.
